Imagine a world in which we don't eat meat from animals. No, not a world with no meat, but a rather a world where our meat is grown in labs, rather than on animals. And no, not fake or artificial meat (from soya or plants), but rather meat grown from animal stem cells, indistinguishable from "real meat". In fact, it IS real meat. If we can do this, and ensure that it is healthy, economically viable, sustainable and ethical, the question is: would people eat it. I think they will. And I think it's coming sooner than you think. Welcome to Throwforward Thursday. Welcome to tomorrow's world, today.
